Hi everyone,

I joined some time back, but for technical reasons couldn't post before. Apparently IE9 doesn't like this site. Whatever that means.

Caravan is a 2006 Elddiss Avante 636 and our tow car is a 2006 Ford Transit. And before anyone thinks it, no we aren't new age travellers (old-age, maybe). But we like our comfort and the space of a big caravan suits us well. The Transit has been converted into a sort of day van and makes a very good solid tug while providing many of the comforts and conveniences of a motor-caravan while out and about. However, if you do need any clothes pegs...

We are currently basking in the south of France at a delightful site near Laurens in the Languedoc and have actually had little problem with getting onto sites with our rig, but have pre-booked in every case.

Hi Patrick, welcome to the forum. Sun is shining here in Blighty today but isn't going to last; enjoy the French sunshine.

After getting back from France it took a while to figure out how to get back in here, but maybe I have managed it now.

To answer Emmerson's question, I dunno. Are you sure it was me? Do Land Rovers figure in it?

And yes, I have cracked it.
