Hello all, I've been reading about all the faults with Swift group caravans, well here's my story, bought the caravan new in november 30th 2006, heres my list of faults so far;
1. window blind faulty (replaced by dealer)
2. water system not plumbed correctly to boiler
3. kitchen work top delaminated within the first month
4. the replacment delaminated within day's of being fitted,this is now to be replaced at the next service, so will be three worktops in total
5. Fridge completley packed up the whole thing had to be replaced
6. shower tray was fitted with something sharp poking into it from behind, this has since been replaced,
7. the laquer on the silver cooker trims cracked these were replaced but the same has happened to the replacements
8.front cushion deformed within weeks
I think that's about it for now, my dealer will be very buisy when it goes in for it's second service, for any one thinking of buying one of these I would check it very carefully the design of how the kitchen sink is fitted is beyond belief relying on a silly little rubber seal around it,, wonder if I have grounds for rejecting this dog of a van or have I left it to late......wouldn't mind a response from swift.....Mark
