Anti vibration strut for mirrors.

I have both strap on mirrors and clip on mirrors and they all vibrate.

I noticed when in France this year that quite a few Dutch cars had a strut that clipped onto the towing mirror and fixed to the car door with a sucker to keep the mirrors steady. I have searched on the net for these but can't find them anywhere. Does anyone have any info. on where I might find them.

Although they may solve the vibration problem I'd be wary of using a strut against the door panel. You only need to be a bit careless or have someone or something brush against the side of the car and you've got a dent in the door. If the same happens to normal mirror extensions, they will give way with the mirror housing, thereby avoiding any damage.

I use a bungee of suitable length 1 end hooked under the wheel arch & the other to the extension mirror
