any sites or cls near water for boating

Hi everyone , I am trying to find sites of any discription (I am a member of CC and CCC) that are within reasonable distants from stretches of water, lakes ,rivers,canals wer I could use a inflatable dinghy with outboard ,and keep grand kids amused ,welcome any suggestions.

Check out the CC's Park Coppice site in Coniston , that has lake access from the site

I can highly recommend C & CC site at Keswick, the site is situated on the edge of Derwent Water, and is a 10 minute walk from Keswick. We use a canoe on the water, great fun! Very shallow sloping, ideal for kids, ours enjoy it.

Only down side is the site is very popular, so you need to book early for busy periods.

Lucksall Caravan Site at Hereford is on the River Wye and there are canoes for hire as well as the oppertunity of using your own if you so wish - very quiet tranquil site with excellent staff and very good toilet/shower facilities.
