Any Tourist Recommendations?

We are going to Norwich for a meeting on 4th June. If we extend our stay in the van what attractions are there for us oldie fogies to see?

Apart from the numerous old pubs, the Colemons mustard museum.

Ely is a bit south but lovely catherdral. And of course you have the Norfolk Broads.

Norwich Cathedral and Norwich Castle are both worth a look, while Norwich itself is good for shopping and wandering around. And there's always Practical Caravan's travel guide to Norfolk if you need more inspiration!

One place we will go to is the Radar Museum. The directions of how to get there include:

By car ....

By bus ....

By train ....

and by boat .... (well it is on the Broads) 😛

The Iceni Centre, formerly Iceni Village near Swaffam is worth a visit. Its actually a reconstruction of an Iceni settlement.

That would have been interesting but it appears to have closed permanently. 🙁

just as Canterbury cathedral ,be aware you have to pay to even get into the grounds of Norwich cathedral.

We have:

visited Norwich centre and seen the old streets
been to a Radar Museum
had a Steam train ride and boat trip
walked around an Aviation Museum
Had too many pub dinners in the local pub
