Anyone got any experience of 6 berth fixed berth van by sprit...

We are looking at the fixed end double bed, front lounge and side dinette of the Sprite and Bailey. Is there any other makes that now do this new design? We currently have Dethleff and like the build quality. We are trying to find similar quality in this new layout...any thoughts? Thanks.

Hi Joanne, We looked at the New bailey 6 berth at the NEC show, before we went we thought that this was the caravan for us but after seeing it we where abit dissappointed, the layout is perfect it just lacks abit on the quality and build but a great caravan for the price and perfect as a first time buy. I have heard that Bailey are now bringing out the same layout in there pagent range so that will be worth checking out also Eldis and compass are bringing out the same layout. We have decided to hold of changing our current caravan till we can get to see these new ones as they have everything we are looking for in a large family caravan.

Thanks for the info. We to have looked at Bailey and are eagerly awaiting other makes to do the same layout. We agree that the Bailey quality is not quite there for first timers. Whoever gets it 'right' is onto a sure winner!

We've also been looking for these vans. The Bailey Pageant Loire is being launched this weekend at the Welsh Caravan show, and will apparently be in the dealers sometime in Febuary, if you go to the Bailey website and look under their News section there is an item about the new family vans that shows the layout for the Loire.

The Sprite Quattro FB is being launched at the NEC show.

We saw the Elddis version a couple of months ago and hated it, the finish just didn't seem all that good to us, and a particular hate of mine was that the sink was above the toilet, and had to folded up when you wanted to go to the loo and then unfolded to wash your hands afterwards.

Undoubtadly it's all down to personal choice, we love the layout but haven't found one that feels right in it's finish - but we're having a lot of fun looking!
