Anyone stayed at CC site at Clumber Park, Notts lately?

There had in the past been security issues, and there have also been reports of itinerants on site. Just wondered how the situation stands now?

some friends of ours go to Clumber on a regular basis as its only a few miles away and they have not reported any issues.

Hi Woody,

We stayed at Clumber in February and even though it was quieter than later in the year the Site Security was still patrolling in his LR at night and the offer of using the site lock-up for bikes was available. I know that there is still an issue with some local undesirables, but I would imagine that if you don't give people an easy opportunity to nick things (by putting things out of sight etc), then it is probabaly as secure as any rural site.

Hi Woody,We stayed at Easter hols no problems like the others have said but if your taking bikes it's advisible to use the bike lock-up that's avalible.
