I throat I would get one at the show off the stand but they only had last mouths.

You would have throat they would had got there finger out and got some for the show what a let down.

Letters after my name at last

Mine has now arrived (3.25pm!). Well worth waiting for, but I am sorry to see that PC has begun saving on printers expenses and included the 100 Top Sites in the middle of the mag. We used to like to pack the smaller booklet into our holdall - sadly the mag is a bit heavy and the rest of the reading matter usually gets relagated to a bookshelf! Moan over ......

Now down to a good read!

I had one of my replies published in the mag last year when I recommended a site half way down the M5 as a one night stop over on the way to Cornwall. I recommended a site that I was going to use for a night

I recommended it a few months before I was due to travel, anyway come the time of my holiday I turned up at the site and when I was booking in the site owner asked me was I the Roy who had recommended his site in the Mag?

Yes I said, to which there was a lot of handshaking and thanks and he went on to tell me how much business the recommendation had generated and told me that I was welcome to stay there anytime etc............................he still bloody charged me for the night

LMAO, "thanks" are great but they don't fill the wallet Roy...

Recommend the next site down next time but still turn up at that one, see if he asks you if you were the "Roy" that recommended the opposition. ;o)

Tight g*t, the least he could have done was to give you a free night. Still bet you wont stay there again
