DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A CHEAPER CAP THAN THE ORIGINAL AQUA ROLL

CAP, IT`S SO I CAN DRILL IT TO MAKE MY OWN MAINS WATER CONNECTION

I picked one up from our local dealer for

Buy a B&Q hose tap adaptor (same as Hazeloc)it has 2 different thread sizes so will fit your float valve.

B&Q hose adaptors and a length of lightweight plastic hose is ideal. I made mine up some years ago and has given me great service.

You can screw a hozelock type of male connector onto the threaded inlet of the "ball" valve and use a female connector on the end of your hose .

I have an in line shut off in my hose to fill the tank and this can be used to regulate the pressure as well.Its a standard Hozelock fittin at each end
