Has anyone used these in barrel filters !!!!, and if you have have you noticed any difference, to the water, especially on tourers as to season users. ???
Hutch.
We always use our on-board tank and all of the water for drinking goes through our filter jug first as it's very easy to buy and change the filters, the system get's sterilised twice a year,
Maybe , myself and SWMBO, have great biological systems, but drinking un boiled, water from sites, from the system through the vans system, even in France, and have had no problems. But having been living overseas, ( west africa) . Have I built up an immune to (some) water born bugs,
your thoughts please.

I've always drunk the water from the tap in my caravan, and suffered no ill effects. It is pumped, from the Aquaroll, through a carbon filter. The filter is meant to be changed monthly but mine has been there for years!
Hi Hutch.
We drink the cold water direct from the caravan taps which can come direct from either the on board tank or direct from the aquaroll.
We have an on board whale pump.
The pipe onto the aquaroll has a renewable filter.
We change this filter every six months.
Not as often as recommended but I'm a sceptic.
Also about four times a year we sterilise the entire water system aquaroll included with Milton solution.
I've done this since 1978 with no adverse health or taste problems.
Thanks to all who have replied, looks like these in barrel "filters" micro bug grabbers, coUld possibly be a waste of money, I admit , i only change the caravan filter once or twice a year, and upto last year we were in the van for about 5 months of the year, approx 150 days with no problems.
Thanks again
Hutch.
