Are touring caravaners second rate citizens

If you visit Hogbarn Village Caravan site at Harrietsdham Kent and you are a tourer you are NOT allowed visitors !!!. If you have a static or keep your van there all year then you can have visitors.

When asked what the difference is we were told it's the RULES.

This site always used to allow visitors (Springbank holliday this year) so what has changed.

I have been tenting & Caravaning for years and have never come across a site that has refused visitors. What next no tourers !!!

Is this a taste of what is to come ? I hope not .

Your comments would be most welcome

Keith,The plain and simple answer is do not go there because obviously they sound like dictorial bum outfit so the whole answer is to find some where else,I am quite sure there are some nicer places around.Good Luck. Jim.

Keith fortunately I have never come accross such a stupid rule. The advantage of touring caravans is that if you don't like the site you can up and leave, thats certainly what I would do on a site like this.

The other alternative for the site is to charge a day rate for visitors, after all once in the site thay do have access to all facilities.
