Thought that would get your attention Frank.

It did not get Franks attention ,but did get mine and has been deleted.

As stated many many times, deliberately provocative posts WILL be removed.

Thank you for your reply Damian. However, a question - how come deliberately provacative posts in relation to sexist remarks against women are not removed?

I look forward to your comments.

Lisa, would you like to think about the post you have just made again?

I say this as, reading the whole thread again, it seems that it was you that started turning it into a feminist thing, whereas up until then it had been very complimentary and supportive about women.

You just posted "White english male couldn't get in the fire service because it had special days for ethnics and women......"

Where is that particularly sexist against women, it includes male as well, maybe a white english male , but male all the same.

But don't you miss it edd? We have such a laugh some days, they rib me and wind me up summat chronic. I know the down side is just so many serious rtc's these days, I couldn't cope with that, seeing that poor lad die in front of my eyes in Jan was just tragic, he only popped out on his bike to post a letter for his mum.

When we have nights out, some of the retired ones come out with us. (They can afford it with the lump sum etc).

That reminds me, I'm on strike this Wed and Thursday.

I used to read the Daily Mail but gave up when it went up to 50p. (retired now you see and must watch the pennies). I now have a second hand version of the Daily Telegraph from a neighbour so instead of it being yesterday's news it is now 48 hour old.
