It seems to be a UK thing to offer packages of goodies, half of which you don't want or need. Continental manufacturers tend to go the other way and do start with a very basic caravan (or car, for that matter) and then leave the rest to the the customer. The price list for my BMW when I bought it here in Germany was a 54 page booklet. You could even choose between four or five different finishes of the interior brightwork, for example.
