ATC problem

Caravan details will help. But most caravans you will find a fuse box under the front seat attached to the bulkhead, Fuse for ATC power supply will be from pin 9 on a 13 pin plug and is Auxillary power supply .Removing this fuse will stop the ATC working.

Underneath the caravan there is a connector into the ATC , thats the best way.
When you its giving 'problems' what do you mean? as incorrect brake shoes/cable/handbrake adjustment is the main cause , the ATC when it goes through it self check, if the push moves too far it signals a fault , which is not the ATC it's the brake adjustment. also if you tow like an idiot if it detects too much sideways motion it will also signal a fault and lockup

Thanks for all your suggestions. I have the ATC 1 control box and dropped it today , took 10 minutes and was able to see the how the plug into the unit was held. There is a clip on the top to be released. The Alko ATC 2 is a better design as the plug goes into the top of the unit and is easily accessible.
