Sorry I didn't get back to you Andrew. We left Portugal soon after. Haven't been online since as the last McD's in Spain didn't have Wifi.

Don't know if it works the same in the uk but in Portugal they gave you the Username and Password and you got straight on.No problem. One guy in there though did think he could get wifi but his latop wasn't set up at all for it,which it has to be.

We will back in the UK early May, too soon, it's really hot here in Northern Spain where we are now. I will try Mcd's there.

Hi Carole. Thanks for getting back to me. My Laptop seems to work ok at all other WiFi places apart from McDonalds. I have since found out from The Cloud who are handling there WiFi that the branch I was trying to connect from was not working properly, giving me the signal as ok and a connection but unable to connect to Internet. I went to another branch and the same problem. As I said all other WiFi places are working ok.
