JUST BOUGHT SOME PYRAMID ATTACHAPAD CORNER STEADY PADS TO REPLACE A COUPLE I BROKE. NO INSTRUCTIONS BUT IT SAYS ON BOX "QUICK AND SIMPLE TO FIT - NO TOOLS NEEDED"
BUT HOW DO I GET THE BALL OF THE SPINDLE THROUGH THE SLOT WITHOUT BASHING IT WITH A HAMMER?
OR IS THERE SOME SPECIAL KNACK FOR DOING IT?

THANKS
G

hi G,
I have a set of those, trouble is it's 3 years since I fitted them so cannot remember how ? I know it wasn't that hard so there must be a knack to it, is one of the slots slightly bigger on one side!!. I do know that once fitted they don't come out again so make sure they are the right way round, there is a bias at one end so they tip up when fitted I also think mine had a arrow pointing to the front so they tip down at the back and are designed to move over any obsticle you run over, otherwise they would get caught and get ragged off.
one tip I can give you is that eventually one of the spindles will break, but all is not lost as a plasic tentpeg "the grey ones" fit perfectly if they are cut to length, a small hole drilled out of the outer end to take a splitpin stops the peg from working out,
ps i now have one spindle and 3 tent pegs on mine.

Having recently exchanged ours for Milenco ones so we can use the stacka pad system, we know that the Pyramids need to be hammered in. This came about because one of the Pyramid ones, the stalk snapped as it became brittle after just over a year's use. Milenco use a steel bar so hopefully will last longer.
