Attempted scam

I thought I would try the FB Marketplace to sell two 20" tyres which are in good condition. First reply was from someone who said they would COLISSIMO EXPRESS SERVICE to collect the tyres and give me the money in an envelope. A quick check on Trustpilot showed this to be a big known scam.

Think I may pull the ad on FB and list the tyres on eBay which although has problems can be a lot safer especially if buyer has to collect. They can see the tyres in person, inspect them, pay for them if they are happy and depart. No comebacks.

FB marketplace is a cesspool and best avoided IMO
You could try Gumtree, it sits somewhere between FB marketplace and ebay in regards to villany .
But yes, Cash on collection required
