Hi ANN

The best place to get Ultima 260 awnings from is

www.awnings.co.uk

I received my blue one within two days of ordering, their site is in Newcastle I live in Essex.

They are the cheapest by the way.

Hi emmerson,

The Ultima 260 is attached to the caravan via the awning rail with beading dare i say like the heavy old fashioned awnings.

You slide the beading untill you are happy with the position of the awning, I have to position mine just forward of the side window and in front of the side door ( My Van is a bailey ranger 460/4).

The main support rails are flexible fibre glass(Qty3) which you just slide up through channels from the front to position against the beading the end on the ground you just tap in a awning nail to stop the rod from moving. The canvas sides you position as close to the van as possible and fix to the ground via awning nails.

You have two further easy assy alum rails which are horizontal

one fitted the assembled awning becomes very stable , I still have a small porch awning which is assembled simular and never had any problem with gusty winds.

Trust this info has helped you.

Thanks Royston. I had thought about having one, but my van is too low at only 210cm.
