With regard to the ongoing campaign by the troll to disrupt the forum with his ridiculous and obscene comments and pictures, and his continual thumbing his nose at the moderators - come on please, enough is enough!

How long must we continue to endure this childishness? Or do you want to lose genuine members on a daily basis?

Most of us on here support the work your moderators do, and especially since it is on a voluntary basis. But they clearly need more help to combat this public nuisance. This is a good forum, with lots of very experienced assistance available from knowledgeable members if and when we need it....please help it to survive for the genuine users by getting rid of the loopholes which enable this pathetic creature to coninue its disruption.

We are aware of the disruption to the forum and fully appreciate the efforts of our Moderators in their efforts to combat the nuisance.

We offer our apologies to forum users who may have seen inaproppriate words and images which have been apearing recently.

Moderators do their best to remove this material as it appears.

In order to support the forum and the Moderators we have been experimenting with software designed to remove spam and unwanted content from the forums.

Results are being evaluated and early signs look encouraging.

We hope that you will bear with us as we develop the new software further

I recently joined a small forum of a club for one of my interests.

They have no problems as they have a modern forum engine. If they can afford the sofware and hosting could Haymarket explain why they can't? Please.

Well, so far the new system sems to working well.

A certain troll has been posting a very similar post on one of the topics which had been intercepted by the software, until he posted once too many times and the system removed the topic completely.

Well done that troll for proving the software,have a star and go to the top of the class
