Hi, anyone in here been to this site in southwest Scotland ?,

we are looking at a long weekend last week of January and this looks like a good spot for us.

It has the amenities for the wee yin to be kept entertained and the pitch sites are very reasonable at the time of year.

I used to visit this site on Sunday mornings for car boot sales when my parents had a static at nearby Creetown, any info would be much appreciated.

Hi HL

Horses for courses but not one of my favourite sites. We stayed there for a few nights a few years ago. Mainly statics with a couple of areas for tourers set in circles. The pitches were not overlarge and many of them were sloping.

The sea views from the site are good but we were disturbed on a couple of nights by noisy folk on the way back from the bar. Reasonable amenities but we prefer quieter sites of which there are a number in that area.

You can see my, and other's, reviews of the site here
