hi all has anybody ever bought a van from an auction ? british car auctions near me have a sale comming up and I was wondering if the vans are much cheaper, I relise that like with a car from these auctions you get very limited come back, and you do have to be careful what you are buying. be interested to hear from someone who has bought from an auction weather good or bad.
 
There are a few good vans but when ever I have been they are in below average condition or have been poorly repaired following accidents. Also many flood damage ones are belived to pass through auctions. They are mainly used by the trade to get rid of poor stock rather than replace stock. Sometimes you can be lucky and find a finance repossesion but you can end up paying as much as you would from a private buyer where you would have more time to asses the van and give it some thought.
