Just back from my annual pilgrimage to Le Mans where Audi just made history by winning with a Diesel car. That should provoke some comment from the diesel haters!!!

Peugeot to join the Diesel race club in 2008 at Le Mans.

Had my usual spot on the pit wall for the final lap, a lot of emotion when you see all the hard work at the pointed end.

Team work at its best with tired men and women working together to keep some vety tired and highly stressed machines running at max performance.

Yes ladies, there are a few lady mechanics in the race teams and a lot of lady co-ordinators etc helping to keep the teams running smoothly.

No doubt LeMans stalwart, Audi's Kay Wilson was very happy lady on Sunday by the smile she had on her face.
