I still reckon its better to have a manual changeover. That way you know when the first cylinder has run out, so you can schedule a replacement into the few following days. Otherwise you just know what will happen.
It's not as if a manual changeover is a difficult time consuming task is it?

When I inherited an auto changeover after the first time I was caught out I used to leave the second bottle off until the first had run out, then I switched it on. Made sure it never happened again.

I thought the Valencia came with an auto valve, I feel sure mine did. I have now had 2 vans with them and I did not use them for the same reason as Mr Plodd and others have said.

Which tends to rather negate the whole ethos of an "automatic" changeover doesnt it ?

Which is why I would never fit one, those I have had came with the boats.
However it is easier to just turn a valve on when the gas has run out and you need to make your morning cuppa than to mess around with a spanner changing bottles.

We had the auto one but used it in manual mode. As said no fun running out of gas on both bottles because you were not aware one was already empty.
