If anyone has a spare weekend in the next three, the colour in the trees around the lake district is something to behold, never mind America, the lakes does it in spades and its cheaper.Come on up, or is it down?

The weather is wet today but we are hopeful of a dryish weekend.

In which part of this gloriuos isle is your estate situated?.
 
If any one takes up Tony's invitation you could also visit the Scottish Borders, just up the road from the Lakes. We too can boast of some wonderful scenery and brilliant autumn colours.

Have to recommend Henley-On-Thames, as you say the colours of the trees are spectacular,and with the typical "chocolate box" english propertys it is a beautiful place !! x
