Avondale Sandmartin weight.

Hi everyone, we have already introduced ourselves on Newbees. We have just bought a Avondale Sandmartin 1988,yes we know its old but nowhere near as old as we are and is not even as old as our old Abbey Acclaim which is now doing a stirling job as a site hut in Stowmarket. What we want to know is the weight of this van (no plates anywhere other than serial number above door)and any experiences or things to look out for on a Sandmartin van. It does seem in very good condition and everything works fine. Cheers Mick and Paula.

I have a 1996 Mayfly and looking at a Sandmartin of similar year it appears very much the same body shell but I dont know about its interior fittings. My MTPTM is 1100kg, dont know what yours might be but I think it will be lower than this

OK thanks. I have looked on ebay and found a similar caravan for sale and the ad gives weights and all the information I need.
