I bought one back in the summer.

After the messing about tuning the oldie in every trip it is so relaxing to just swith on and enjoy using it.

Is it money well spent?

Well yes I think it is with all the alternative ways of using and inputting things to it.. i.e. DVDs, memmory cards to view pickies etcIts not HDD but who cares that will change formats before it settles down to 1 system.. no digital channels but that can soon be sorted out with an additional box.

Found out that

www.bags4everything.co.uk do a great padded carrybag for it as well.. well worth investing in

Go for it I would say from my experience

Hi Iestyn, just bought the Avtex 7 in 1 from the NEC show. It was on offer for the same price as the 6 in 1. I have checked Avtex web site and tried to look for the 7 in 1 but could not find it. Apparently it is just being launched. Hold fire for the 7 in 1, you get the added benefit of freeview which you don't get with the 6 in 1. Otherwise a great portable 12v tele which we use in the kitchen. It comes with a wall bracket as well. Neil

Hi Iestyn- we got one of these for xmas off our daughter--WOW brilliant. We have just dpent 5 days in Bath and the weather was wet/windy/very windy/muddy and this saved the day. I could watch what I wanted, hubby had sky sports news and the kids had kiddies channels to keep them amused. Got ours from John Lewis at the Trafford Center and the TV from them comes with a 5yr guarantee. Maureen
