Awning adjustment from 1050 to 950 by Isabella

Has anyone ever had their Isabella awning adjusted by Isabella - apparantly you can have them changed to fit a new caravan rather than buy a new one?

You can have your awning altered but normally its to make it bigger as they add a v shaped piece in.

Allison, can I suggest you do a forum search for "awning alteration" or similar? Its been mentioned before and I'm sure I remember someone recommending Isabella to alter awnings.

A couple of years ago I had mine altered by the Canvas Repair Centre. Would recommend them if you can't get Isabella to do it.

Mine was enlarged by approx. one size. Two pieces of roof material similar, if not identical to original material were added to the roof where the side panels join the roof. The part that goes through the caravan channel was also renewed. I imagine it will be a simpler job to reduce the size.

hi Allison,

I had my Isabella Ambassador altered to a large porch awning

as it was only a couple of years old.My new caravan was a lot longer so i decided to keep the awning and have it altered, this has worked out fine.If you are reducing the size I would have thought Isabella would have no problems doing that for you.
