Awning enlargement

Hi,
recently changed caravans to a brand new, bright shiny Olympus. When we started planning our Spring trip to France it dawned on us that our Ventura awning wouldn't fit the new van. It was 975 cm and we now needed 1040 cm. We did think about selling it and buying a new one but although it was seven years old it's in excellent condition. We eventually decided to get the awning extended to fit the new van and had it back today. They've done a fantastic job and we're really pleased. It cost us £120 as opposed to about £1,000 for a similarly specced new one. I found the sewing company on a simple google search and took a punt. I hope it's ok to mention them here as I think they deserve it. Stitch In Time Industrial Sewing Ltd at Barry Dock in South Wales.

We also had our awning extended by a local firm on the Essex/Suffolk border and as you say much cheaper then a new one
