Awning Heaters

We caravan with two very young children so once they go to bed we are stuck freezing in the awning. Do Awning heaters work and can someone recommend one that will take the chill of in a full sized awning without killing the electric for everyone else on site.

when our children go to bed in thier bunks we do not decamp to the awning we stay in the caravan with the telly / music / lights on. The children should are so worn out after the fresh air exertions during the day theat they fall striaght to sleep.

Hi Jessica,

Wht don't you put the kids out in the awning and sit in the nice warm 'van yourself?

A couple of decent sleeping bags and they'll be warm as toast!

Alternatively, some 'vans have a blown-air vent to the outside of the 'van to heat the awning - have you considered having one or two of these fitted? They heat the caravan pretty well.

Kids are 6months and 2yrs not ready for sleeping in awnings just yet.
