awning left wet.......or condensation

we put our awning away, thinking it was completely dry, when we got it out a few weeks later it was obviously not dry, or it was the condensation, and we now have a nearly new awning, thats covered in what look like mouldy patches, can anyone suggest anything at all, please, its mainly on the roof, but as our roof slopes it will be obvious to see this, and i wouldnt be able to bear it, thankyou to everyone who can hopefully help,

Hi Ed

When we bought our first caravan it had an awning in the front locker that had been packed away wet.

We used Fenwicks awning cleaner and lots of water. Pull the awning through the channel as if you were putting it up but don't put the poles in.

Clean a small patch at a time with your hand behind the bit you are cleaning, use a soft brush or sponge.

Rinse with lots of water and redo if neccesary.

We did ours over a weekend on a site (ask the owners first). I was impressed with the results as I was convinced we were going to have to throw it out.

HTH

Paul
