One of the bulbs has gone on my awning light it is a "ring" make ,how the heck does the lens come off to enable bulb renewal?
 
Have you thought about contacting there technical dept for advice ?
You can contact them here it's easier than breaking it

If its like this one you grip the fitting at the top and bottom and squeeze
Sometimes they stick and easing round the "shade"with athin blade loosens it
There are 4 flat lugs/protrusions (2 at top and 2 at the bottom sides)

You can just make out the protusions to each side of the centre recess on this pic

You have to squeeze these so that the top and bottom are closer together !
