awning poles

I'm watching this for an answer too, as the alloy poles on our Bradcot never stay tensioned. I am always having to adjust them!

Started using a much lighter Sunncamp 390 last year. Not the same space as a full sized 1050 awning but so much easier to put up & take down and a heck of a lot less weight.

If they are the type that you twist to adjust and lock in place we had these on our Trio. Complained to Trio about them not holding, and the joints falling apart. They provided a replacement set of poles but they were no better. On complaining again they offered me a set of glass fibre poles which we have had no problems with. If your awning is not too old it might be worth approaching the dealer or manufacturer with your problem.
