Awning Question

Hello all.
Am trying to find a source for a short length (about 6/8 inches) of the beading or beading core which we slide up the awning channel to secure the awning on the van. I have a lost a short part of this core due to reasons unknown and am planning to to repair by inserting a piece of beading into the sleeve and then sew into position. If anyone could suggest where I could find a supplier for this I will be very grateful.

hi no need to Paul a small piece of washing line is about the same diameter l have repaired a few awnings of the years and is a perfect solution, you can also sew though the cord to stop it moving in the future
