Awning rail protector

No, don't use one. It's another way of fleecing caravan owners. :dry:

I bought one length and divided into two. I leave in the rail when the van is not in use as it sheds water away from the caravan walls thus reducing the dirty streaks. Sliding the n/s section out prior to fitting the porch ensures that the channel is free from obstructions. For about 13.00 it seemed worth a try!

Anybody know where to get a blue coloured one?

Can find it in white grey or yellow, cheapest 12m for 12.50 in P&P in white on ebay (Maypole brand).

I agree with the comments about shedding water and black streaks. I fitted white ones on both sides of the van, since they blend with van better so slightly less at risk of getting nicked. However, the diameter of the bead on the white version seems fractionally larger than the yellow ones I have seen, making fitment a little more difficult
