Awning Rail

Its the time of year to start getting the caravan ready .Thinking about removing the rear awning rail as its looking a bit shabby. Its never used for anything so would not be missed. Anyone ever done this if so was it straight foward.Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks Wayne.

The awning rail forms an integral part of the joint between the Front, rear and side walls with the roof. It should not be removed without replacing it with some other sort of strip that will do the same thing.

Better off cleaning up the old one.

Thanks for the advice I thought it might form part of the structure .If it does not clean up okay will replace with another awning rail . Been looking on e/bay and will ask at the storage shop were the caravan is .Thanks anyhow Wayne
