Awning Size

i need to know what size awning i would need for a ABI brightstar 1994 2 birth.

i am buying this van but not collected it yet and there is no awning with it.

To find the size of awning you require, measure your caravan from the ground up, over and back to the ground (A+B+C). This ground-to-ground measurement is used to determine which awning size is needed.

This site won't reproduce the diagram

A is from the ground to the front awning rail

B is the length round the awning channel

C is from the awning channel to the ground at the rear

Add all 3 together!

Thanks for that info but as i said i aint got it here yet and wondered if someone else has got the same van and an awning and could tell me the size...

Good luck

I would try an awning dealer if nobody comes up with the info

They will have tables of sizes but even they have to resort to measuring as above

You may just have to wait but its worth asking --you may be lucky hopefully

The Ventura awnings website has a search facility for awning sizes and gives an A measurement of 876 for a 1994 Brightstar. hope this helps.

Hi Janette,

Have you thought about a cheaper porch awning?

Some are quite big and look for all the world like full awnings. Plus, you don't need to know any sizes and if you change the 'van you can keep the awning for the next one or sell it on to anyone as "one size fits all".
