I have a new caravan so in order not to loose my warranty with putting holes in the body work so I cut and shaped ply wood to fit into the wheel arch it works a treat I also have a buzz bar fitted to it hope that this helps.

We have a smaller rectangle connected to the main skirt with a figure of 8 plastic strip

The 2 top corners of the smaller piece have eyelets through which are threaded short elastics that are hooked over plastic suction pads on the van side

Hi Tash

We had the same problem and used some suction pads found on ebay (see this link - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-50-X-20mm-Suction-Cup-Cups-Pads-Sucker-Suckers_W0QQitemZ220268307525QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item220268307525&_trkparms=72%3A984%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14.l1318). They work a treat, dont involve any drilling or cuts to the skirt.

Stuffing the Awning's empty pole bag into the wheel arch works very well stopping the drafts. Not the most stylish solution but at least it avoids having more gear to lug about.
