Awnings - advice for classified ads

Hi again,

Following previous post, it looks as though I will have to start saving for a new stabiliser.

My caravan came with two awnings - porch and full. They're heavy Isabella awnings and I'll never be able to put them up on my own, hence I think I will try to sell them and buy an Easi-up or similar later in the season.

So, my question is: What info do I need for a classified ad for the awnings? I don't know their age but I guess they're at least 12 years old, but in reasonably good condition bearing in mind their age.

Also, what is the 'going rate' for used awnings? Any suggestions where to 'pitch' the prices? Ahem.

Any suggestions VERY gratefully received.

12 year old awnings are getting on a bit. You don't say what condition they are in. Have a look at Practical caravan small ads and those in the Caravan Club Magazine. That should give you an idea of their reasonable value.
