Awnings and the Caravan Club

I recently joined the CC and booked our caravan onto a seasonal pitch at the Lower Wensleydale CC Site,Leyburn. when booking over the phone I was told that awnings were included in the cost and that it could be kept up all season, however on reading a booklet I've received it says that awnings must be removed when the caravan is not in use, Can anyone help with this question? We chose the CC because you could leave up your awning however i am now reading that you can not. otherwise we may of gone for the alternative site of Fangfoss Park, Nr York who do allow you to keep up your awning for the season. Also any comments on either of these sites good or bad appreciated. Many Thanks, Andrew.
 
I believe the reason behind this is so that your awning is not damaged by strong wind or the weather while you are not there
