Awnings

We need to purchase a awning for our new van, which was an impulse buy, leaving our Dorema awning too small. whoops.....

After looking at the Dorema styles we like the Prestige and Montana one of which has a pattern roof, to what benefit would this be.

Can anyone help, they seem to have highlighted this fact, not sure if this is good or just cosmetic design.

We like the mossey nets, but the pattern roof seems to put us off.

Many thanks

Chris,

Not familiar with this brand of awning but suggest you check, if you haven't already done so, that the roof sections in the two awnings are made of different materials. My last awning was cotton with no pattern on roof, current awning does have slight pattern and is made of lightweight material.

Another option might be to have your old awning altered, we did that last year when we changed our van. Worked out well and much cheaper than buying another. Depends on how happy you are with old awning and what the size difference is, I think they can only increase by maximum of two sizes.

Thanks Rob, I think 2 sizes will be enough, so I may go down that route.

Many Thanks,
