Richard, hopefully it is just the material having stretched a bit when wet and in tension. You could try erecting it loosely and giving it a good soaking and allowing it to dry under a no tension situation. This may allow the material to regain its shape.
 
Richard, any good caravan or awning dealer should be able to have your awning "tailored" to take out the sag. Try the adverts in the magazine good luck emmerson
