hi me again! wondering if anybody on this forum has a bailey discovery (which my family have) if so can you tell me what you think of it. even if you dont please comment.

hi we have a 2004 discovery 200 end washroom 4 birth model with the lux pack fitted (blinds fly screens and drop in carpets) and are very pleased with it, the lack of a full oven was a problem at first but then bought a remoska cooker to put on the work surface, problem solved!, tows very well as its nice and light, we have just had the cusions re filled at tockfield foam so its nice and comfy for sleeping also, we bought it when it was 18 months old and has proven very reliable.

Hi! Not many of us Discovery owners about - rarely seen - don't know why.

We bought our Disco 200 at Barrons in Feb 2006 - ex demonstration model, we consider it new - its a 2005 model but mst be one of the last in the production run it has a window in the door!

Same model as James - great rear wash room - this sold it to my wife. Siude dinette on the off side, kitchen to the left of the door.

We would rather buy new, but budget model, than older but used.

The van is basic but we love it. Not bothered there is only a heater and not blown air heating - less to go wrong! No TV ariel - buy a sattellite in a box kit from Lidl or Maplins! Asda do a small DVD player for 14 quid. No oven - thank heavens, just simplify the menu. We revamped our kitchen the other year and put the old microwave in the van - used it only twice in a season and got rid of it.

The only gripe I've got is the table doesn't fold down and fit in a cupboard. But we live with it.

No problems to note, though it is going in to Discover (formerly Barrons) next week, to get the fridge working on gas. We got an extended warranty on the van to match Baileys five or six year body warranty.

Great budget vans, you dont have to spend a fortune to enjoy caravaning.
