Most of us have heard of Pennine caravans. It seems that they have gone into administration. Great shame as their trailer tents were quite popular. I always thought they were quite well built, but quite expensive for a fold up caravan.

I had a NR Nimrod the poor man’s folding tent.

Pennine was the envy of a lot of campers looking to upgrade. Sadly as you will see on their web site ( still open) their products are no cheaper than a real caravan.
A great shame to lose another stalwart of the leisure industry. And a very sad day for all the employees so close to Christmas🥲🥲

We borrowed one, when our kids were still doing what we said. Yes easy to tow , but being so short, a pain to reverse, but thankfully light enough to manhandle.

We had a trailer tent when in SA as the climate is better for trailer tents. It could sleep 4 although there were 6 of us. OH and myself one side, daughters other side on the double beds and our 5 year old son on floor in middle. All an adventure for them.

We had a pennine Pathfinder 6. Absolutely loved it. The only issue was the large canvas awning took some effort to erect hence the move to caravan.
