Bailey front locker problem

Hi all the locker in my Bailey Discovery 2006 has a awkard stay can you fit a gas strut to replace stay, and if so where can i get them from please

Just be certain that your opening lid and the fixed panel are strong enough to support the extra tension of a gas filled strut. You don't want any stress cracks!
