I got this report of forum very disturbing news.

Thompson Plastics in Hull have gone into receivership, they made Baileys' front and rear panels along with lots of shower/washroom mouldings used by many other manufacturers. I know that the Conway Crusader we had used a Thompson washroom. Fleetwood now similarly defunct had their front and rear panels made there also. Quite disturbing news.

Stephen, yes Thompson Plastics went into administration, not receivership.

The company has been re structured and is operated by Thompson Technik, the parent company , same employees and still in production.

I'd like to know how a firm making plastic panels and fixtures for most of the UK caravan manufacturers can go down the pan?

I think it is they who made the ABS panels . Was that the reason???

Yep i can confirm that Baileys changed their panel suppliers in 2007 got this information from the horses mouth.
