Hi, interested to see your post. Looking to buy my first caravan. Thinking about a new Bailey. What is the best way to negotiate a discount? One salesman said the market is good so we thought it was unlikely we'd get a discount. Any pointers? Thanks,

Ian

Hi Ian,

I have normaly found that if you are serious, and that you have convinced the salesman your serious. If he is ready to let you walk away from what is your best best offer. You have gone below what is regarded as the bottom price he is going to sell at. When you are buying the ball is in your court not the saleman. You should know what your willing to pay and what is your bottom line. It just takes quite a lot of effort to get to that point.
