Bailey Provence vs Bretagne

We brought a Provence last yr (2005 model) but find the layout restrictive with our baby son.

Would we be better off purchasing a Bretagne - does anyone have any views on the best layout for very young children and babies ?

Also bearing in mind that the Provence is less than a year old, anyone any ideas on the Part Ex / Second Hand value.

Thanks

Hi Richard,

We were looking to buy a Bailey Provence and have a small baby. Could you expand on how the layout is restrictive for your baby son?

We thought the layout would be ideal! If you have one (and a baby) we'd love to know where the pitfalls are before we make a big purchase.

Many thanks,

Gary & Amanda

Perhaps a little old this thread but feel I should reply for the record.

We have a 1yr old daughter (8 months when we bought the Provence) and we find it ideal.

Took us a day or two to work out the best bed set up for her but we now lay her on the off-side rear dinette seat. The back rest cushion is moved inboard and rests against the table edge to prevent her rolling out. Extra support is provided with her portable high chair up against the other end of the re-positioned back rest. I should also add we take her cot mattress with us as it is the exact same size as the bed area the above layout provides.
