Bailey Pump Senator Ser.5

Hi all

My pump is so noisy, it's a sureflow. Has anybody had the same problem and knows how to cure it ????

these pumps are noisey by nature of the fact that instead if being submersed in a container outside the pump, they are now inside the caravan and reverb through the floor.

the usual problem for the reverb is the fact that they are rarely installed correctly. if the fixings to the floor or either too tight or too slack, they make the noise worse. try adjusting the screws and in some really bad cases fit rubber washers under the unit where the screws are to the floor.

Hi Rod,

While not one of our vehicles, the Shure-Flo can be adjusted by using a pozi head screwdriver, increasing the pressure setting of the pump. This can have an effect of quieting the pump.

Simply turn the screw (located at the bottom of the pump) clockwise to increase the pressure.
