Bailey Ranger GT60 520/4 2010 Model-Rear storage box under bed

Hi can anyone tell me if the storage box at the rear ahich when open exposes the underneath of the bed.Is this supposed to be like this or should it be boxed-closed in? Just wondering if by it being open it can create coldness etc.Theres a black plastic base but opened top.any info greatly received

Don't think it's meant to be closed off, that's what the locker door is for. Many caravans have spaces under their benches, French beds, rear Island beds etc tgat are accessed via external locker doors, and they are all "open" to the inside.

The idea is that you can shove stuff in and out without having to lift the bed or even go in the van.
