Hi all I'm new to caravaning I'm in need of a battery can I use a car battery while connected to electric hook up or will this damage my caravan thanks

I don't have a motor mover it's will just be running fridge and internal lights would the on board charger be enough to charge the car battery thanks for ur help

That will work just fine, especially if you don't have a motor mover. Any old half reasonable car battery will do.

Yes the onboard charger will certainly recharge any fitted battery.

I assume you are aware your fridge will NOT cool at all on 12 volts. It needs 230v or gas to cool. The 12v supply is for the thermostat and internal light.
